How they work
The Bublitz® alarm system provides you with a simple solution for securing your entire premises. All-round security!
It doesn't matter how big the building is that you want to protect – there's just one restriction:
The rooms in the building must be connected by air.
This means that when interior doors are airtight (rubber seal or a carpet under the door), you will need to keep the door slightly ajar. If, however, you need to keep an interior door closed (e.g. a fire door) or there is no air connection (e.g. to your garage), you can also install a wireless motion detector or wireless magnetic contact in the room concerned.
Once your Bublitz® alarm system is enabled, it will register any penetration of the building shell that is typical of break-ins, thanks to its highly sensitive internal sensors.
To enter a building, intruders have to either break a window, lever a window or door off its hinges or kick it in. Even if the intruder does this really carefully, as soon as the window or door is dislodged from its fastenings, there will be a short fluctuation in pressure. This in itself will not trigger the alarm, because pressure differences also occur during storms and as a result of supersonic flight noise, for example.
The Bublitz® alarm system measures the volume of air in the room to be secured.
Different volumes of air have different oscillation frequencies. You can measure or even hear vibrations. A simple example: If you hold a shell to your ear, you will hear a fairly light white noise - the bigger the shell, the deeper the noise. The volume of a building is large and the white noise is thus so deep that the human ear is unable to detect it. Vibrations here are at a frequency of 1-16 Hz. When an intruder attempts to break in, the oscillation changes slightly, and this is also interpreted by our alarm system.
Enabling your Bublitz® alarm system
Once the Bublitz® alarm system has been enabled, it will take two minutes to calibrate to the current situation. You can leave your house or apartment during this period. After this, the alarm system is "set" and its highly sensitive sensors will register any attempt to enter the building that is typical of a break-in, whereby the device does not emit any infrared or radio waves.
The Bublitz® alarm system can be disabled by remote control.
Choose from a pocket transmitter, a key-operated switch or a code lock. If you choose the wireless option, you also have the option of pressing the panic button on the remote control at any time you feel threatened in order to trigger a full-scale alarm. The remote control option is mandatory for fire alarm functionality, as the wireless smoke detectors and alarm system need to communicate in the event of an alert, regardless of whether or not the alarm is set and whether it is enabled or disabled. Of course, you can also use our telephone dialler devices to transmit an alert to your mobile phone, your neighbours, relatives or friends or our 24-hour nationwide security centre.
